They placed the subject as close to the to the intersection of the third of the nine sections The “Rule of Thirds” one of the first things that beginner photographers learn about in classes on photography and rightly so as it can help you create well balanced and interesting shots.t he basic principle behind the rule of thirds is to imagine breaking an image down into thirds (both horiz ontally and vertically) so that you have 9 parts.

depth of field

Image
Depth of Field is how sharp the objects that are farthest away versus the objects that are closest to the camera. If you have a shallow depth that means the things close will be in focus but the objects farther away will be blurry and not in focus, while with a deep depth of field everything will be in as best focus that they can be. Shallow Depth of Field is when the photographer focuses the image where you can only see the closest thing to the camera. Deep depth of field is when the photographer makes it so that the picture can see everything and nothing is blurred out. This picture has a very shallow depth of field with the gum being the focus of the picture

Alternative Angles

Image
It's important to move your feet after you find the perfect angle. Meaning, after you find the shot or angle you think you want. Continue moving the camera or your body around to see if you can't find any other wars the picture can be shot. Or if you would like to include anything else in the background of the shot. It's also a good idea to do research on the area beforehand, so you know the type of environment and possible angle you'll be dealing with They took this picture from above with a fish bowl lens or effect to it This is from ground level but the building is tilted This is a straight on shot of a person sitting down This is take from the ground looking up to create a worms eye view This was taken from a straight on view This picture was taken from an elevated position

Shadow Photography

Image
The first image was done by having a light above the ring and in front of them so that the shadow was not in the picture, the second one was simple, the put a light in font of the nails and it was as simple as that I took this picture by balancing a coin against a light bulb, with a light source in the upper right and a green sheet of plastic over the light, the Christmas lights in the back are to give a background and more light.

The Age of Photography

The First Camera was immensely important to the world. it began the age of photography that has led to an entire art form that is used every day, if not for a scientist who had the crazy idea of creating a protection or photo, we would not have the everyday commodity that rules the modern age. The First Permanent Images (Daguerreotype, Emulsion Plates, Dry Plates)  were important because the camera was almost useless up to that point because you could only project it onto a wall, but being able to have a picture that you can have all the time, even though it is expensive was a revolutionary development and further change the world . Camera For Everyone  was important as people could now have a camera with them whenever they wanted and did not have to be rich  to be able to have one, this set forth the motion of the modern camera and was a way of bringing the camera to all homes across the world. The Horrors of War  were important because it brought perspective to people around the w
