Leading Lines

Leading lines are a set of lines used by the photographer that direct the viewer through the photo.

A photographer might use leading lines in an image to direct a viewer to certain points in that image

Symmetry is when the image is the same on both sides, a mirror image

What did you do to shoot your photo?  I used the railing to lead up to emily
What did you use as your leading lines to draw the viewers attention to a focal point? The railing
Who is your focal point?   Emily
Is your composition symmetrically balanced?  No not exactly

What does this do to the composition?  It makes it look a little less professional
